Worlds Tune Up

Circumstances prevent us for the week long event in Annapolis however, we will be tuning with the Quantum Newport Boat up here in Newport all summer, once a week. We also will be chartering Rocksteady out to the very talented Melges 24 Legend Andrea Racchelli on Altea. So far the tuning sessions have been going quite well, it’s really given us the time we need in the boat for a change.
The best part is we can finally stop and think about what we do as a unit on the boat and what really makes this thing go fast. Usually we never get this opportunity in the circuit so were taking some time to find out a little more about the boat. Newport boosts some crazy great breeze in the summertime months which works out great since that tends to be our weaker area on the race course. After these tune up sessions, we’ll be taking Rocksteady back to waterline systems for some final “touch ups” and dry out before worlds.
